*OEM MATCH – Some of our colors are VERY close to OEM colors. The ones that are 98-99% match, we labeled with OEM Match, above. Our "Red" in Gloss is a 98% Match for Rubicon Red and Firecracker Red. Mojave Orange Gloss is about a 99% Match for Mojave Orange. Satin 392 Gold is about a 98% Match to the 392 Gold color. Matte Graphite is about a 99% Match to the OEM Gray on Rubicon and Mojave Emblems. Dark Gray, while it is a matte finish, is extremely close to Sting Gray.
If you would like a color not listed in the color selection on the drop down, you may select "Specialty" and type your color choices into the colors/finish box on the product page. We stock a lot of our specialty colors, but some are special order and may take 1-2 weeks for us to get the color. Typically it is only about 4-5 days though. Feel free to inquire before hand. You can also find more info below, about all of our colors. If you don't see a color listed that you want, just ask! We can get 1000's!
Color Information
Here you will find all sorts of detailed information pertaining to our colors.
A lot of our colors are available in both gloss and matte. Matte tends to hold up better against scratches and such.
I highly suggest ORDERING COLOR SAMPLES prior if you aren’t sure. I can’t guarantee color matches, but can usually get pretty close or suggest alternatives. I am not able to exchange or refund any emblems where you choose the colors, so please be certain before ordering. We can usually send pictures of most colors upon request.
Blacks: Matte black is our most popular color. I recommend matte over gloss black as it holds up much better to scratches, water spots, and finger prints. Gloss looks amazing, but more care should be taken with it. If your truck is dirty a lot, matte would be the better choice. We DO NOT offer gloss black as the main color on tailgate emblems. While we can still do it upon request, it will be shipped with the mask on, and there is a good chance of it being scratched underneath. We DO sell replacement emblems, but will NOT warranty these for being scratched.
Oranges: Our Mojave orange is closest to Mojave Orange. "Orange" is a very bright orange and doesn't match Mojave Trim.
Reds: Our “Gloss Red” is almost dead on to the red trim on OEM Rubicon emblems, as well as Firecracker Red paint. It is available in matte as well, but the matte is a hair darker.
Graphite: Matte Graphite is almost a direct match to the DARKER OEM silver on emblems. It is about the same shade as Granite Crystal, but matte finish. It tends to light up a bit more silver in the sun.
392 Gold: Satin Gold has been a reliable match for OEM 392 colors. It also matches some of the bronze wheels on the market.
Copper and Bronze: These color are both a matte finish and a great material. They DO match pretty close to some wheels on the market.
Blues: Regular blue is very close to hydro blue, but does not have the same flake that hydro blue has. Mopar blue is a brighter blue, closer to Mopar Blue. Teal is a bright teal. The matte looks awesome.
Grays: We have a lighter gray and a darker gray. Dark gray in matte, is very close to Stingray shade, but is matte.
Lime Green/Yellow: Lime green is only available in gloss. Slime green is a hair darker but in a matte finish. Yellow comes in gloss and matte and both are a bright yellow.
Purple: Purple comes in gloss and matte and is a darker purple. We have other purples available upon request.
Matte Tan/Olive: This is a medium tan. It is NOT a match for Gobi. Olive is a typical army green, but a bit lighter. It is not a match for Gator or Sarge Green.
Carbon Fiber/Brushed: Our brushed black, has a brushed metal look to it. It does scratch easier than matte black, but not as easy as gloss black so it is a good go between.
Metallic Colors: We have lots of metallics, and even more we can special order. Please contact us first. Some metallics have flaws, which is just part of the material.
Mirror Colors: We have quite a few mirror colors in stock and can get even more. They are super cool, but more care must be taken with them. Their lifespan tends to be shorter than solid colors, but I have some out there that have been holding up for over 2 years now.
Razzle Glitters: These glitters are super cool and bright. Some change color. they do have a bit shorter lifespan than some of the solid colors, but so far have been holding up for over 2 years with proper care.
Glow in the Dark: Offroad use only. Check local laws. These colors aren't real bright during the day, but ARE colored. The glow well at night, but ALWAYS look brigther in pictures than real life. A UV light is recommended for charging them if you want them to glow brighter/longer. These colors tend to fade some.
Important Notes On Materials
Acrylic in general: Acrylic does have UV inhibitors in the material, to help fight degradation and yellowing, and works very well outdoors. Like anything, there is a lot of variables that will dictate how long it will last. The pigments themselves are not as protected again UV exposure, so care must be taken. We recommend using Frog Juice to help protect them from sun exposure. Sun and extreme temps are the worst enemy. Brighter colors (pinks, neon, glow, etc) while the material will last fine, the colors do tend to fade faster. Extreme sun can fade them in a matter of months. Things like setting sun pointed at your tailgate will speed this up. Extreme heat, can heat top layers enough they warp and separate from the back. This isn’t a flaw. I have had this happen twice, and helped them out both times, but both times were due to 120+ temps, which can heat the surface to temps high enough to warp the letters, which pulls away from the adhesive. While rare, just a precaution.
Adhesive: We use 3M 467MP, which is a very thin double sided adhesive. It sticks amazing to paint, glass, vinyl wrap, acrylic, and more. It DOES NOT stick to certain things like ceramic coating, bedliner, or Kevlar coatings. If you want to put emblems on bedliner, we highly recommend a different adhesive. It it a bit more expensive so please contact us first for more info.
Gloss Vs Matte: Matte Colors tend to hold up better to scratches and water spots, etc. If you off road, I highly recommend running matte AT LEAST on the face of the emblem. Thin outlines like on our Elite and background colors see to do fine in any finish.
Again, please ask for pictures or order samples unless you are certain of the colors you are ordering.
