Shipping Info
Ship times and Tracking: We ship via USPS, from Michigan. We have available choices of ground advantage or Priority mail. Ground Advantage is 2-5 Days, Priority is 1-3 Days. This CAN vary. We have no control over shipping and don't really have access to any more information than you do. Every package is insured and MOST packages we ship, show up fine, even if they run late. We can't typically start a claim for 14 days, but there is exceptions, so feel free to ask.
We ship orders out every Mon-Thursday. Occasionally on Friday and Saturday. Most items are shipped from our facility within 1-3 business days. If we have to order materials, it can take an additional week. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the email address provided on ordering. We DO NOT retype in addresses. The address you enter is what we ship to. Occasionally, USPS will say an address is invalid. We try our best to double check and make minor corrections if possible, such as “Road” vs “Rd”, but in the end it is your responsibility to enter the correct address. If an item is returned to us as non deliverable, you will be responsible for the postage for reshipment.
We have tracking on all our orders. It is emailed after the order is complete and waiting for pickup from USPS (scheduled for pickup). We DO NOT, print shipping/tracking before the order is completed. Most commonly, if you receive your tracking information in the afternoon or evening, the mail will pick up packages around 11AM the following day and you should see begin to see updates that evening.
International Shipping: IMPORANT!! PLEASE READ IF ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE THE US. Due to variances in shipping cost, we charge a base rate for international orders. If the actual amount is more, we will send an invoice for it. If it is less, we will refund the difference. This is for postage/shipping fees only. We are not responsible for duty fees and/or taxes which you will have to pay. We ship via USPS, which hands it to Global post, then to your local carrier. We CAN ship UPS, which is much faster, but they will charge a brokerage fee of roughly $30USD as well. You can find more information about that on UPS.com. We insure all orders, but once the packages leaves the US, we have no control over the package. We will assist with insurance claims, but we cannot be held liable for missing or damaged orders once they leave the US. Packages returned as non-deliverable, CAN be reshipped, but you must pay the shipping again. Out of US shipping services will return items, but they will not refund us, and instead they will say we must go through USPS. USPS, will not refund us. We love shipping to our out of US customers, but once it crosses the border, it is 100% out of our hands.
Shipping Insurance: We offer 2 types of insurance, through USPS and Fully Insured.
-USPS: All packages have $100 USPS insurance on them. We will provide any needed information for a claim (invoice, receipt, etc), but you will be responsible for filing and completing the claim with USPS. We DO NOT recommend this option for any order you aren't willing to lose. They DO NOT cover claims very often, even with every piece of evidence they need, and every hoop jumped through.
-Fully Insured: This is handled either by self insuring (we do this on some smaller orders), or insuring through a third party. With our fully insured option we will handle the claim for you. If the claim is denied, we will personally cover the replacement or refund, unless you have refused or were unable to provide the needed pictures and information. You will be required to fill out a form, send pictures (more info below in the "damages" section), or possibly present shipping materials and packaging to your local Post Office as needed. Failure to provide needed information, can result in your claim being denied. We will start the claim when we are notified by you, or the soonest possible date (typically by next business day for "damages", but there are minimum time requirements for "lost" packages). Typically we have an answer within about three days. As soon as we have an answer, we will remake and reship your order, or refund you when we receive the refund. This is usually within a few days. Occasionally, we will remake and reship your emblem right away. This is at our discretion, based on the likeliness of the claim succeeding as well as the value of the emblem.
Shortages or Damages:
Sometimes an emblem arrives damaged, a package is lost, or delivered somewhere else. All of our packages are insured for at least the amount you paid. You can learn more about insurance above.
-Damages: If this happens, stop as soon as you see the damage, and start taking pictures as you unbox it. We will need pictures of the product and damage, and the packing materials, as well as the outer box (all sides), especially any damage to the box itself. If there is any note attached or inside from USPS or USPS stickers, besides the label, on the box, please make sure to take pictures of this too. It is very important to not throw out any packaging.
-Loss: If your package doesn't arrive, and tracking has stalled for more than 3 days, it is okay to let us know, but we won't be able to do much until at least after 5 days. If it is stalled more than 5 days, we will begin looking into it and starting a claim. If you get a notification saying it was delivered, but you didn't get it, please follow the below instructions.
