Due to the manufacturing process for Metallic acrylic, it is common to have small bubbles/ridges/flaws in areas of the sheet. This is from the manufacturer/supplier and nothing I can control. I do my best to avoid any flaws by cutting around them, but I have a allowable tolerance of 1 flaw per letter, visible within 2 feet distance. Due to this, I recommend using metallic colors for background colors, but not for the main face. I will gladly do it, and sometimes they turn out perfect, but this is just something that is out of my control.
Chrome/Mirror colors tend to scratch easier than others and have a shorter outdoor life. Keeping them clean and out of direct sunlight helps extend the time. I cannot warranty chrome/mirror colors.
