Colors
If you don’t see what you want, just ask! We stock a lot of colors, but can get hundreds more! For more detailed color info, click here to scroll to the bottom.
The colors below, are some of our more popular colors that we try and keep in stock. They are actual pictures, but have been modified to look as close to in person as possible. Colors may vary slightly in person. Highly recommend getting color samples before ordering. We also show a lot of the colors on our instagram. If we have to order a color, it typically takes less than a week to get.
Color Information
Here you will find all sorts of information pertaining to our colors.
Most standard colors are available in both gloss and matte. Matte tends to hold up better against scratches and such. Most colors, if we don’t have it, can be here in a week or less.
I highly suggest ORDERING COLOR SAMPLES prior if you aren’t sure. I can’t guarantee color matches, but can usually get pretty close or suggest alternatives. I am not able to exchange or refund any emblems where you choose the colors, so please be certain before ordering.
Glow in the Dark Emblems are for offroad use only. Check local and state laws.
Blacks: Matte black is our most popular color. I recommend matte over gloss black as it holds up much better to scratches, water spots, and finger prints. Gloss looks amazing, but more care should be taken with it. If your truck is dirty a lot, matte would be the better choice.
Oranges: I have numerous orange colors. “Orange” is a regular bright orange. It is available in matte as well. “Dark matte orange” is closest to Mojave Orange. Neon Orange is lighter, almost a tangerine. Pumpkin metallic is a lighter orange, but due to being metallic, will look darker or lighter. It does NOT match Punk’n Orange. We have a LOT of people order regular orange, but are trying to match Mojave orange (dark matte orange is closer), so please be sure which one you are ordering.
Reds: Our “Red” is almost dead on to the red trim on OEM Rubicon emblems, as well as Firecracker Red paint. It is available in matte as well, but the matte is a hair darker. Metallic red, is very close to the interior red trim on the dash of the Rubicon.
Silver/Charcoals: We stock a metallic silver. It isn’t a heavy flake so it doesn’t match OEM well. We also have a matte silver which is an awesome color. Our new dark matte silver, IS almost a direct match to th e DARKER OEM silver on emblems. Charcoal Metallic doesn;t have heavy flake, but tone wise it is fairly close to Granite Crystal. It tends to light up a bit more silver in the sun, but looks great as an outline.
Golds/Bronzes: We have a number of Gold and Bronze colors available. Recently we updated some of these. Satin Gold has been a reliable match for OEM 392 colors. Our newer matte gold might actually be closer, but I haven’t had a chance to see yet. Our new matte bronze and matte copper, should match better to some of the bronze colored wheels people are running. I will update this as we have more chance to match stuff up.
Blues: Regular blue is very close to hydro blue, but does not have the same flake that hydro blue has. Blue metallic is also close, but the flake is different. We have TONS of blues available to us in all sorts of finishes.
Grays: We have a darker gray and a lighter gray. Both available in gloss and matte. Neither matches StingGray.
Greens/Yellows: We have lots of greens available, in all sorts of finishes. Our “Lime” is close to gecko but not exact. We call it lime, but it is actually ordered as neon green. Our “Green” is a weird campground green. Our yellow is a bright yellow. We have lots in between available to us, including a matte chatreuse, neon yellow, etc.
Pinks/Purples: We have TONS of pinks and purples available. We usually stock “pink” which is a middle of the road pink. We can get hot pink, corals, pastels, even rose gold mirror. Purples are the same with a big selection of matte and gloss. Our “Purple” is a darker gloss/matte purple. We also have an electric purple, magenta, all the a mauve and pastel, almost gray, purple.
Brushed/Carbon Fiber: These are acrylic made to look like brushed (black) metal and carbon fiber.
Chromes: They are available in a bunch of colors, so just ask if you want something you don’t see. Chromes are awesome, but they do have a shorter outdoor life. They scratch easier and show stuff more. For outlines they aren’t too bad. Typically I stock silver chrome(Mirror), Gunmetal Chrome (like a lightly smoked mirror) and purple chrome.
Color Change: We have 6 colors of Glow in the Dark and 5 Colors of UV color change (frosted white, turn color in the sun). All of these are semi translucent, so they are best if placed on a white, or lighter color background. If you use them as a background color, your paint would be the lighter color. On darker colors, they tend to look uneven from the adhesive.
Important Notes On Materials
Acrylic in general: Acrylic does have UV inhibitors and works well outdoors, but like anything, there is a lot of variables that will tell how long it will last. Sun and extreme temps are the worst enemy. Brighter colors (pinks, neon, glow, etc) while the material will last fine, the colors do tend to fade faster. Extreme sun can fade them in a matter of months. Things like setting sun pointed at your tailgate will speed this up. Extreme heat, can heat top layers enough they warp and separate from the back. This isn’t a flaw. I have had this happen twice, and helped them out both times, but both times were due to 120+ temps, which can heat the surface to temps high enough to warp the letters, which pulls away from the adhesive. While rare, just a precaution.
Gloss Vs Matte: Matte Colors tend to hold up better to scratches and water spots, etc. If you off road, I highly recommend running matte AT LEAST on the face of the emblem. Thin outlines like on our Elite and background colors see to do fine in any finish.
Metallics: I do not recommend metallics as main letter colors for daily drivers. While many do run them and are happy, metallics tend to scratch easier and show water spots, finger prints, etc more, similar to gloss. They work great for outlines though. Although I have found better suppliers, Metallic colors can have some flaws in the materia;. While I do everything I can to avoid or minimize them, there is still the potential for them, typically look like little dots. I try and keep it to a 2 foot rule.
Neon Colors: Neon and bright colors will fade faster than darker colors. In sun states, this could be just a few months. Parking in shade, or so your tailgate faces north or east is better than west or south (geography plays a role) to keep it out of direct sunlight prolonging the emblems life. Frog Juice is supposed to help. (I have never used it).
Glow/UV Color Change: The glow in the dark colors are cool, but they are for offroad use only. Check local laws. (You’ve been warned). Some colors glow brighter and longer than others. Sometimes, especially with fender emblems or those lower on the vehicle, they DO get charged up during the day, but they don’t last long enough to see them bright at night. A UV light will light them up though. The Uv/Solar color change ones are a sort of frosted white color, and will turn color in the sun. They (and the glow) are a newer material, so I honeslty have no clue how long the color change/glow will last. I have some on there over a year now and still glowing bright. Glow colors doo tend to fade faster, so keep that in mind.
Again, please ask or order samples unless you are certain of the colors you are ordering.
